Background
At a Bayer Crop Science conference, the team gathered substantial feedback from seed sellers pointing to one clear need: a more efficient, user-friendly way to manage the seed selling process. That feedback became the foundation for SeedSellerPro.
My Role
I was one of several designers on SeedSellerPro. I worked from the synthesized conference feedback and requirements rather than running the sessions myself, and from there I personally built out the Miro wireframes and Figma prototypes for my areas of ownership. My specific focus areas were:

The Farmer List and Farmer Account screen flow, including a split-pay billing feature that let sellers divide payments across multiple parties.
Portions of the inventory management screens.
I shared wireframing and prototyping responsibilities with other designers across the rest of the app, and the dev handoff documentation was something the whole team wrote together rather than an individual effort.
Challenges
Gathering comprehensive user and stakeholder feedback. The team needed real input from seed sellers, not internal guesses, so requirements were built from direct conference conversations rather than assumptions.

Designing an intuitive and efficient user experience. Seed sellers needed a way to manage orders, track shipments, and handle billing without the app becoming another administrative burden.

Ensuring seamless developer handoff. With multiple designers contributing to different parts of the app, keeping design and implementation aligned took deliberate documentation and communication.

Solution
Farmer List & Account Flow
I designed the Farmer List as the seller's central view of their accounts, then built out the account screen flow from there. Within that flow, I designed a split-pay billing feature that let sellers divide a single payment across multiple parties, a detail that mattered a lot to the actual seed selling workflow but could easily have been treated as an afterthought.

Inventory Screens
I contributed to portions of the inventory management screens, helping sellers track seed stock alongside the orders and accounts I was already designing for.

Wireframing & Prototyping Process
Across the app, the team started with low-fidelity wireframes in Miro to move quickly and iterate with stakeholders, then progressed to mid and high-fidelity prototypes in Figma to give developers a detailed blueprint to build from. I followed this same process for my areas of ownership.

Developer Handoff
The team wrote comprehensive design documentation together and held regular check-ins with developers throughout implementation, so issues could get caught and resolved quickly rather than after launch.

Process Notes
Working from synthesized feedback rather than raw sessions meant I had to trust the research and ask clarifying questions when something felt incomplete, rather than filling gaps with my own assumptions. Sharing wireframing responsibilities across several designers also meant staying closely aligned with the rest of the team so the app felt cohesive rather than stitched together from different hands.
Outcome
SeedSellerPro launched to strong positive feedback from users. Seed sellers found it easier to manage orders, track shipments, and communicate with clients, and reported spending noticeably less time on administrative tasks. Engagement and satisfaction with the app increased following launch.
