About Lucas
Starting my UX career in Chicago, I've spent over a decade shaping the world of design. With a knack for blending storytelling and digital artistry, I create intuitive, compelling user experiences that resonate deeply with users.
As a Senior Product Designer with 10+ years of experience, specializing in AI-driven B2B and agtech products across web, iOS, and Android. For the past eight years at Bayer Crop Science, I’ve led end-to-end UX for complex tools that help agricultural sales teams and agronomists make faster, smarter decisions in the field.
As the only designer supporting many squads, I work as both a product thinker and a systems builder, shaping vision, facilitating discovery, and turning messy constraints into clear, testable experiences. My recent work includes designing AI-augmented workflows, note-taking assistants, and agronomic copilots that reduce manual effort, increase adoption, and turn underused data into practical decisions for sales reps and growers.
I’m especially interested in how AI changes real daily work, not just the interface on the screen, and I partner closely with product, engineering, and data teams to define how AI should behave, explain itself, and earn user trust. Beyond individual features, I focus on scaling UX with patterns, design systems, and cross-platform consistency so teams can move faster without sacrificing quality.
Outside of my corporate role, I’m exploring how to apply this experience to SaaS and micro-SaaS products, with an eye toward eventually building a design-focused agency for AI-powered tools and workflows. I stay current on UX and UI trends, use tools like Figma, Mural, and modern AI assistants, and bring that curiosity into the products and teams I support.
